CyberTracker software consists of various features to create a custom experience.
CyberTracker is the most efficient way to gather large quantities of geo-referenced data for field observations at a speed and level of detail not possible before.
The CyberTracker Icon User Interface was originally designed for trackers who cannot read or write. However, scientists and conservationists benefit from the Icon User Interface enabling significantly faster data collection than text interfaces or written methods. The icon interface design also reduces data input errors.

Screen Templates |
To create a CyberTracker Application, a selection of Screen Templates makes it easy to link screens together into a sequence of interlinked screens.
|
Layout Mode |
The Layout Mode allows you to design your own screen templates for more advanced applications. A wide selection of screen modules can be combined into a new screen design.
|
Geolocation |
The CyberTracker mobile field map feature makes it possible to navigate using GPS to track the path of the user in real time. The GPS GoTo feature allows you to define GPS waypoints to guide you towards a specific destination in the field.
|
Electronic Field Guides |
The Application developer makes it possible for users to design their own Electronic Field Guides with Species Identification Keys (Filters). The Species Identification Keys consist of a sequence of screens each with a checklist of characteristic features of a species. For each subsequent screen, the Filter gives an indication of the number of possible species.

Server Setup |
CyberTracker supports connections to Server databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
|
Command Line |
Several CyberTracker features can be triggered via the command-line. This functionality is usually intended for server side scripts that operate on the database as a whole.
|
CyberTracker Connect |
The CyberTracker Connect feature allows you to connect the CyberTracker application for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad) to one of our online Partner solutions, like ESRI ArcGIS Online, SMART Conservation and EarthRanger.
|
Remote Synchronization |
Remote Synchronization involves CyberTracker desktop software and mobile applications sending data over the internet to a central server. The database administrator can then download this sighting data into a consolidated database.
