BioBlitz 2006

The data gathered by the Central Park BioBlitz 2006 scientists, naturalists, and volunteers has yielded the identification of 479 species to date. While this is only a fraction of the total number of species of plants and animals whose natural habitat is New York City's Central Park, the data is concrete and thus yields a wealth of pieces of the Park's biological puzzle.
